-Currently, about 2 games are sold per week for the Atari 2600.
-Regarded as one of the most influential games of all time.
-Would displace Space Invaders as the most popular game of all time in the US for Atari.
-Atari’s 2nd best selling game of all time.
-The prototype was so popular at the office that the hardware designer created a 2nd prototype to allow staff employees play on that one instead.
-There was no sound chip for the arcade version, so an original hardware circuit was wired directly to the circuit board by hand.
